JewishCare has been providing services and helping people with a disability for decades. We have the widest range of individualised services, which helps people with a disability to achieve their goals and aspirations at home, work or the community. Watch this short video

We are very excited about the improved outcomes the NDIS will bring to people with disabilities and their families. JewishCare is the only registered NDIS service provider in the Jewish community and we are here to help the NDIS make positive changes happen for you. If you or your family member have a disability, we can help you understand how the NDIS works, find out if you are eligible and guide you through the application process. If your application is approved, we can then provide you with a whole range of disability services under the scheme.

JewishCare will guide you to make your NDIS plan a reality. We really understand how NDIS works and are committed to working with you to ensure you achieve the best possible outcomes.

JewishCare is big enough to guarantee best practice, yet small enough to really care about you and your individual needs. This may include utilising our 500+ volunteers if appropriate.

JewishCare offers a range of unique value add services to clients who are already accessing our services or the services of other providers. These include access to community funded programs like Drop in Support, Print35 Design Studio,Big Brother Big Sister and Camp Sababa and Sababa Senior.
JewishCare runs a social enterprise which provides employment services for 16 supported employees at our Print35 Design Studio. Print35 employs people with a disability to produce the highest quality products including digital and hand crafted invitations, brochures and flyers, annual reports and business cards, birthday and corporate stickers and gifts. Working for Print35 provides the opportunity to build important skills and improved feelings of self-worth. Print35 is a small, modern, person centred social enterprise which helps supported employees to learn varied skills.
Qualified caseworkers work closely with you and your family to provide support with crisis management, referral as well as liaising with schools and government agencies. Our Beit Chaim Community Living program can assist you to pursue independence and participate fully in community life. We will work with you to identify your needs and to develop your own vision for the future so you can achieve your goals. We can also assist in providing opportunities for you to fully participate in the mainstream community to gain access to work, volunteering and education.

Circles of Support

A ‘Circle of Support’ focuses on providing guidance to enable people living with disability and their families to build natural support networks. The aim is for you or the family to feel empowered and enhance the decision making by routinely exercising control in matters that impact your life.
JewishCare offers a range of support options for children and young people with intellectual disability and autism in the Jewish community. Our aim is to support you to reach your potential, and feel valued and respected as members of our community. Our Big Brothers Big Sisters program links children aged 7-14 years with a volunteer ‘Big’. Through the friendship, trust and support of an older, positive role model, you will have the opportunity to develop confidence and self-esteem, gain new skills, new experiences and know that you have someone you can talk to and trust, outside of your network of family and friends.

For 18-30 year olds the Mentoring programs can help you deal with challenging times and potential opportunites in your life.

Camp Sababa (children age 6-16) and Sababa Senior (for ages 17-25), offers children and young adults with disability a summer holiday camp. The camp provides a wonderful holiday, which is fun filled, active and with a Jewish flavour. As a camper you get involved in various activities including outdoor recreation, sports, crafts, music and more. You are ‘buddied’ with graduates from the participating high schools and young adults from the community.
